2nd Annual Big Ten Fun Run

The Capital Area Iowa Club is proud to sponsor the 2nd annual Big Ten Fun Run!  Come to Salt Line DC on May 6th for a 10:30am fun run with participants from all of the Big Ten alumni clubs in the area.  

Here's some new details and notes for the run! 

​We wanted to share out some more details on what to expect and how to plan. 
 

• Make sure to wear your school colors!  We have approximately 100 people signed up and expect more day so we got to show off our school pride!

• Before we start the run, we’ll attempt to take a group photo.  Please arrive early if you’d like to join in.
• We’ll have a bag check with a couple volunteers at the start of the race.
• We’ll kick off the run at 10:30am on the road in front of Salt Line DC.  We’ve included a map below of the route. 
• The route below is a 5k.  If you want to do a 10k, just take another lap! 
• This is a self-timed run so we will not have timing chips or a clock. 
• After the run, we can enjoy a cool drink at Salt Line.  If it gets too busy, we can do an overflow at Dacha Beer Garden next door which opens at 11am.
